For sale: Two 12" iBook G3s. Neither of these is working. These are sold as-is, for parts or repair. Between the two you can maybe get a working machine. Each laptop comes with an AC adapter and a battery, each of unknown condition. I don't have original boxes, docs or CDs.
iBook G3 700Mhz/256/20gb/Combo: This machine does not power on. No noise from the computer at all. Never had it checked out.
iBook G3 800Mhz/256/30gb/CD-ROM: This machine powers on, but the LCD does not light up. I was able to put this in Firewire disk mode and read the disk from my iMac. Could just be a bad backlight in the LCD.
Maybe you can take the LCD from the 700 and put it in the 800...
These may have more RAM than listed. I don't want to bother finding out. Good to very good cosmetic condition for laptops of this age.
Make an offer on one or both.
