Hi
I could get my hands on a Radeon 8500 64 Mbytes BUILT BY ATI...
Even though it's identical to the mac-version, I wasn't able to flash it on the mac (by putting the flasher into the OS 9 startup folder)..so after 2 days I tried it on a PC..I could put the mac-rom on it..now it works without problems in my mac.
Just for those people that already gave up..try it in a pc!
