I've never even heard of that, sounds sketchy. Most, if not all games should run just fine on a MBP.
Edit: I checked it out and it looks like a Windows thing. The MBP has sufficient graphics power to run most modern games so I wouldn't worry about it.

that site has every graphics driver version ever released for nvidia cards
some are better for certain cards..but it is a lot of trial and error to find the best one for your computer
apple selected one of these drivers and put it up on their site as the best driver to use. Note: this is not the one that comes default with leopard

this driver brought my 3dmark05 scores from 7100 to 7600 with no overclocking necessary :)

The drivers are usually modified (inf) drivers and are right out testing. Sometimes the drivers are in beta still. Just becareful with the drivers because sometimes it can overheat your graphics card or cause issues with performance.

There are a couple of them that do modded drivers. I believe guru3d.com has drivers etc... There are always driver wars on other forums. Windows users don't play nice in the sandbox apparently.

Modified INF's exist for mobile computers because nvidia and amd don't usually create drivers for notebooks. It is due to the differences in how some manufacturers use the chips gotten from the two GPU makers. The GPU makers actually prefer you get the drivers from the manufacturer of the notebook.
Places like laptopvideo2go or omegadrivers take the desktop drivers and mod the INF so that the drivers will install for the mobile versions. Sometimes using the desktop drivers will have you lose the advanced powersaving features. So you may want to be careful.
