Google map issue

Hi everyone, i had an issue with the new google maps. After jailbreaking 1.1.3, i installed and added the resources for ipodtouchmaster, after reinstalling the google maps app, it will not load. The other apps like notes and weather do load. Could you guyz please help, thanks! :(

i have the exact same issue, but didnt use the source from ipodtouchmaster.

i used one from a guy called oscarwu.

got all the apps+wiggle+bookmarks ok, but excluding google maps.
it just wasnt there

is there a fix

I have the same problem. I have google maps for 1.1.3 and when I try to use it, it just pops up then closes again.

Same here! Used to work fine. Even the "Locate me" feature worked! But tonight, it just opens then crashes. 'Sup with that?

did exactly what you said., although i first had to install the 1.1.3 google map application from installer, then i followed your advice from there in.

works ok now.

hmm...same issue for me, but the fix didn't work...what does that whole chmod 755 thing mean?

Ive actually figured out how it can be fixed, well kinda. I re jailbroke mine with the I brickr then without SSH, I added the iGuy resource and downloaded his iphone apps. This time it worked compared to the crappy ones that ipodtouchmaster provide. Now it works fine. Touchmaster has some flaws with his resource :cool:
