iPod Classic -- Firmware 1.1 shoud I update?

I was just curious has the problem been fixed? I heard it is really buggy. Should I update on my iPod classic?

You should always update as it will always solve problems with your machine or iPod.

I say update it's not gonna break or something.

I know it is good to keep your iPod updated, but I heard 1.1 was buggy and drained battery really fast and had a weird noise when the iPod was off. I was wondering if this was fixed or still going on?

I've also been wondering if I should try 1.1

I know that updates are generally a good thing, but in this case I've adopted an "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" approach to 1.1 1.03 is working just fine for me.

Installing 1.1 would be a good idea for those who want to watch rentals on their iPod though but since I have a pokey 256k DSL link I won't be doing that anytime soon :p
