CD troubles w/ Windows version of iTunes

Noticing that when i swap CDs out in iTunes that it doesn't ever register the change in disks (ie, no new query to CDDB for track info, won't play) and in effect seems to jsut hang up until i kill the application manually....
I realize this forum's primarily based on mac hardware but so far i've gotten no suggestions from the apple.com boards...

I've ripped 3 cds so far, and I haven't had this problem. I did have a problem with one disk where it screwed up the times on half the tracks.

I had to eject and reinsert the disk.
