Setting up a Remote VNC Server With Hughnes

Having lots of trouble trying to connect to my dad's machine in Missouri.

He has Hughnes. I read that no ports are closed, but when he tried to start the server on port 5900, it says can't listen there. 5901 seems to take but all the clients I use crash when trying to connect.

We are using Vine Server 2.2 for his machine.

Any advice greatly appreciated. 😀
