AppleCare and Aftermarket Third-Party Memory

I bought a MBP with the standard 2GB memory in October. I have since upgraded to 4GB memory from XXX. If I ever have to send my MBP in for repair through AppleCare, am I required to reinstall the original memory? :confused:

It's best practise to do so, yes. That way, whatever your problem is, Apple can't blame your third-party RAM as the cause and refuse to work on it.
