If rock had a deity, who would it be?
I say Thor (the right answer). What say you?

I believe that the elaphant is called Ganesha. But I don't think any of the individuals you name there are the Gods of rock. Let's vote for Bob Dylan.

I'm voting for Ozzy even though he isn't my favourite rock artiste, because I haven't heard of half the other options, and of the remaining that I have heard of, I don't see the rock connection.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the god of both paper and scissors, but not of rock.

And why not Odin? Odin is also a popular figure among metalheads/rockers...:)
I'd say the Scandinavian Pantheon of gods is the right answer.

How about Keith Moon? He seemed to embody everything about the rock/roll lifestyle. The only thing he has going against him is that he was a drummer and not a singer or guitarist.

"Who would win in a fight: Lemmy or God?"
"Um, Lemmy?"
"Bzzt."
"God?"
"Nope. Trick question, dickhead. Lemmy IS God."

It's between Hendrix and Page, but I'll second Trogdor if he makes the list.

I don't know about the God of Rock, but Arthur Brown (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Brown_%28musician%29) is the God of Hellfire. He's admitted as much.
