Downloading Problems

This morning when i tried to download something .......... 😱 .........Nothing happens, tried it on a load of different sites, does anyone have any idea's why it wont download anything, goes through the motions but doesn't show whats downloading and doesnt leave owt on the desktop ???

any idea's 😕

p.s. the OS is 10.4.11 😉

More information on what your downloading through what would be helpful. If it's something illegal there could be less help here, but sometimes torrents take a while to start.

Thanks for the reply samh004, it was just things like widgets and stuff off the apple site, nothing was downloading at all, but i remembered looking at a trial version of speed downloader 4 a few days ago & uninstalled it, but i just found it had left a plug in located in the internet plug in folder, got rid of it and all is now working ok again, but thanks for the quick reply 😉

Sounds a bit fishy... blocking users from downloading at all after the trial is quite bad.
