View Full Version : Can you burn DVDs with the compression of VCDs?

All,

This may be a stupid question. You can create VCDs that hold compressed video which can be played back on some DVD players. Can you do the same thing with DVDs? I have a friend who has a ton of video clips and we want to fit as many of them as possible on a single DVD. The quality of the clips is already pretty low. Are there any such things as DVDs that hold compressed video like VCDs?

No question is lame.

If everybody knew everything, life would be very boring.
It's all about which compression to use.
