Any way to use MSN hotmail with the "Mail" app?

I think if you pay microsoft a fee you get POP access to hotmail, which would then allow you to use the iPod touch to read it.

Why not just set up a gmail account and then send out a mass email using hotmail telling everyone your new gmail account.

I second this. I always question if my mail will get to the recipient if it's a Hotmail address anyway.

Just forward all your emails to a gmail account. Go to options, email forwarding. Then just login once every 100 days or so to stop your account getting deleted.
