Suddenly the 3,e,d and c keys of my Powerbook won't work. They were working fine earlier today, and I didn't drop the machine, spill anything on the keyboard. Any idea of what may be going on and how to fix it? Thanks.

Something similar happened to my Air keyboard with no apparent reason. It doesn't type b, d and l. Although it types those letters in capitals. Haven't found a solution yet. Will let you know in case I do.
I' going to a Mac dealer tomorrow to have it checked.

Solution (so far)

I got my problem solved so far. This is what I did:

Macintosh HD/User (whatever your user name is)/Library/Preferences/

Then I dragged the Preferences folder to the Desktop.

Then I restarted. I checked that the problem was solved and threw to the trash bin the folder I had dragged to the desktop. And that's it.

I was told that if the problem reappears I should reinstall the system.
The problem might be the result of malfunction during migration,
