About a week ago I began getting a problem receiving emails, it takes minutes for emails to come through if at all, I am being asked to enter my password which never happened before and I also get this error message come through

"There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Check the settings for account "POP Account" or try again.

The server error encountered was: The connection to the server "pop.orangehome.co.uk" on port 0 timed out."


I have no problems sending emails or internet access also have the same kind of problem on my laptop which is linked to the same livebox. I have spoken to my internet providers and they have talked me through re setting my pop settings but this has been no use

If anyone can help thanks in advance
