I know it really sucks that there are only two more, this whole season has been messed up due to the writers strike.

Yeah, that was a bit strange.Fox held back episodes to fill some weeks before they ran out.

Big ratings after the game means more eyes.Somehow I just can't see a significant percentage of football fans getting hooked on House after the Super Bowl. Maybe I am just irritated that we all have to wait until the Super Bowl is over, the post-game is over, etc. before House comes on.

Pfff, DVR baby.I watch TV via an analog antenna, so a DVR is not really on my list of important things.:p Eh, I guess I can just watch it on YouTube as the episodes usually get uploaded there in a timely manner.

most of the serious sports fans would have turned it to espn and nfl network by the time house comes on, so good luck getting that crowd. and many people use that as their drive home time from parties. i think this type of tatic works best for late afternoon events, when people aren't shutting down the party for the night.

I'm a rock climber. I'm up on a wall for hours every week. You know what I don't need to see? I don't need to see someone falling 30 feet because a belayer's hands stopped working!

Well nobody ever said Network Execs were smart .... but then maybe the Network Execs think the average football fan isn't smart enough or sober to change the channel after the game!
Who knows? :D

Reviving an old thread..
I just wanted to say how AWESOME last episode is (House's Head). Everything just build up to the crash, which by far is one of the most riveting and engaging 10 mins in any television episode I have ever seen. Why can't all tv series be as good as that...
I'm just dying to discuss this with someone

I agree, the bus crash scene was maybe one of the best things ever filmed. I also love Cutty's strip tease.

:D quite a lot of people are talking that scene as well, apparently she seeks professional training before doing that scene.

That has to be my favorite House episode ever. The bus crash was done extremely well, and there was that twist at the end that was surprising (for me at least) I can't wait for the finale!

Had to chime in here... finally got 'round to watching this week's House episode last night. I'm almost glad I waited until then because now I have less time to wait for the second half. :D That was one of the best episodes of House ever in so many ways and also one of the best episode to episode cliff-hangers that I have ever seen.
I was emotionally moved by the crash scene, those who truly care about House huddled around him to revive him, how it was edited/shot to transition from the crash scene memory to reality, thinking back through the episode for the ways in which Amber was evoked, and just the overall unique and creative development/revealing of the story... I loved it.

House season 2 ended here in Japan quite a long time ago, many months ago (half a year maybe).
It's just TODAY starting the new season. Holy crap was that a long wait... I almost just lost interest in the show. I kept thinking of buying the shows on iTunes, but I never bothered to even see if I could.

Just came back from a vacation and caught the finale part 2, I was afraid part 2 will not live up to the hype, but I must say part 2 did not disappoint me, "House's Head" & "Wilson's Heart" are now my favourite episodes.
TV stuff has never affected me emotionally, but those 2 episodes really really touched me. Absolutely heart-wrenching on so many levels
<snipe>
Oh well thats show bizYou might want to blank this out, avoid spoiling it for others.

episode 16 is the last episode of season 4. They have already started on the production for season 5, so season 5 should be out in a few months time.
