Safari Cannot find server yet firefox can

Hi all,

I am having some issues with safari. I am running 10.5.1 btw. Quite often I click on a link for example the UK Apple store and I get a message saying that Safari cannot find the server yet when I try with Firefox it works fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this with safari?
