Sorry for double posting, I think my previous post was in the wrong forum.

If you guys can help me ASAP, it would be fantastic.

"My main drive is a 250GB drive which has 2 partitions (1 OSX Leopard and 1 Bootcamp w/ Windows XP Pro SP2).

What I want to know is how can I back this up to an external drive (or even internal) and if I ever need to restore it, I want it to be restored to the way it was (with 2 partitions). So if I lose the main drive, I would want to reestore the computer back to the way it was with the 2 partitions intact (and both bootable).

Is this possible? If there is such an application, I am willing to buy it...I just need to know if this is possible.

Also if I back it up to an external drive, how would I boot it so that I can restore the image?

Thanks!"

Not entirely sure if it would work with os x, but this works well for Windows and Linux, I used it when I was dual booting Vista and Linux and trying to get the wireless working. It creates a fully bootable copy.

Macs have no floppies 🙂

If this was a Windows machine, I would back it up with Acronis, but this is the Mac world and I am not that familiar with it yet 🙁

I just want to create a 1:1 copy of my main drive, so if I restore it, it will go back as it is right now.
