i don't think so-- isn't the macbook pro a tad larger?

To my recollection the MBP uses a sata drive, while the older powerbooks used an ATA connection; which are entirely different interface connectors. I'm afraid they won't be interchangeable.

hmmmmm.... thanks....

got the little powerbook, it's very cute. an old cute beater.

anyways, is it hard to find a new harddrive for this laptop? just any laptop hd that is ATA?

also, is there a cheaper way to get ram for this thing, other then crucial (107$)?

thanks,
r.

Yeah, I had a powerbook 12" and it was a great machine. I still miss the size and portability to this day, and sometimes regret selling it.

Any 2.5" ATA drive should work. I would take a look at Newegg for the ram and hard drive, as I've always had excellent dealings with them. They have a crucial 1GB stick on sale right now for $59.99, that is the right speed for your powerbook. Good Luck!
