one-way video chat to dell... sounds works but video window is black...?

im trying to figure out why my girlfriends video window is black when i do a one way video chat with her. she has a dell and i tried disableing the firewalls and all that but it still doesnt show up. i have another pc (toshiba) and i can get it to work there... any thoughts?
