I'm trying to connect to the internet using airport. I seem to be connected:

but when I open Safari it says it cant open a page because i'm not connected to the internet!

Am I missing a step out??

you are linked to the wireless router, but it isn't linked to the the internet. Just try resetting it (power cord)

Thanks but i'm not to sure what you mean.

What do I need to reset?

Reset the router by cycling it off and on. Probably easiest to unplug it, wait a few seconds, and plug it in again.

Also reset your modem or DSL box.

Sorry for stealing the thread but I keep getting the message that my password is invalid when setting up my wireless router when I know that it's correct.
Any help'd be appreciated!

Did you add it to your keychain?

are you using your user account password or the one stored on the router from its initial setup?
