Random alert noises

I don't know if anyone has had this problem before, but my 2.16 C2D macbook pro is making random noises. And it isn't a popping or whining noise but like an error input noise. And it alternates, between the pop, funk, submarine, and stuff like that. I have tried to reset pram, reformat, and change user accounts. I have no idea what to do.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
