Just installed HOMM V (with 1.5 upgrade) on MBA. Everything seemed OK (opening cinematics etc) but once trying to start the game the main field appears extremely dark. The icons and everything else are fine, but the character and map are almost too dark to see. Turning detail to Very High helps a bit, but something is definitely wrong. Any idea?

I found the "workaround" for this issue if anyone is interested.

You need to go into the Config file and change "vertex shaders" to "N" which seems to make it a bit better. Colors are still dull but at least the game is playable.

For whatever reason, I still could only see stuff in "Very High" detail at the max resolution. Unfortunately this means performance is rather sluggish.

In case anyone cares, the recent graphics update to Leopard (after installing 10.5.2) fixed the dark graphics issue with HOMM V, hooray!
