Mail 3.1 folders are read-only

Something odd happened to my Mail folders. Suddenly they are read-only and I cannot transfer mail into them.

It happened after (albeit not immediately) I upgraded to Leopard. I re-installed Leopard. Ran Disk Warrior. Cried. Raged. Nothing fixes it.

I can't use Mail like this. Please fix it. 😕
