Hey everyone,

I got a new Macbook last week and when I was doing the setup at initial launch to transfer files from my old emac to the Macbook, afterwards in the HD location, there are two folders, one named 'etc (from old mac)' and 'tmp (from old mac). My question is: how essential are these folders for the Macbook? Is this something I can safely delete from the HD, or should I just leave these alone?
