Need to catch up on games

So I'm going to buy a brand-spankin'-new MBP when the new ones come out, and this is my first new computer in YEARS. There have been a ton of great games in the past few years, and I want to start catching up! What are some of the greats that I have missed? I really like RPGs and RTSs, and the first game I'll be buying is KOTOR. I do also like FPSs.

Definitely get Orange Box, great package, possibly the best value game collection ever!

Tiberium wars. sTARCRAFT. halo. AoE III. Civ IV

PC side: Oblivion, World in Conflict, The Orange Box, Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4(or Mac when it comes out), Crysis, Medieval 2: Total War...

Mac side: The Sims 2, Civ 4, Call of Duty 2(or PC)...

Age of Empires. Get AoK (bad graphics, but great gameplay) and AoE3 (incredible graphics, and a little bit less on the gameplay). The RTS's that redefined what an RTS is. And multiplayer over LAN in really fun.
