So i just got my touch yesterday, so im still getting used to it. But i couldnt find this thread. But when in Mail, and you open an email with an attachment, say the attachment is a JPEG image or something, and you download or open to view it, does it download to your hard drive and permanently save on it? or does it simply download it just to view it and not save on the drive? because i dont want to open attachments all the time and have them taking up space and not knowing how to get rid of the space

to my knowledge it simply loads it off the email server each time, no saving. I'm fairly certain of that.

I'm fairly certain that it does save it to the flash memory, but it removes it if it ever needs the space. Just don't worry about it.

oh, lol, my bad. I had emailed myself a picture that I drew, and it seemed like it had to load it every time. Guess I was wrong.
