Boot with Option Key....?

Can someone tell me what happens when you boot up your Mac
while holding down the Option key ?

try it. its lets you select a disk to boot from whether it be your main hard disk, boot camp (if you have it) or a bootable DVD like your install disk. the best bootloader ive ever seen IMO. it even has that slide animation for multiple disks.
