Nice clean layout. I like the effect with the portfolio. Easy to navigate. The only things I would change are as follows:
In the header where you introduce yourself, I would use a smaller font. It looks a bit off with the bold/italics for specific words, as well as putting your name in the red? I would use one color and lose the bold/italics.
The red you chose is a bit bright? Maybe darken it so that it blends better with the greys? The titles for the sections look off because of the bright red. If you darkened it, perhaps that would help. But you could also opt for the darker grey. The bold/darker words look fine in the write-up on the right. It lets the viewer skim in order to realize your resume. Good job and thanks for sharing.

I like the layout too.
However since I have a slight visual problem, the black on grey is almost impossible to read and the red is somewhat disturbing.
I really like the "Rooted" site, excellent layout.
The feedback form seems out of place on the front page, maybe you could have a separate page for it?

- Run a validator on it, http://validator.w3.org
- The site breaks when JavaScript is disabled
- You have a lot of information in your header and parts of it are hard to read (the black on gray)
- I agree with the other poster that the contact form is kind of out of its place. Also the message box is very small. People won't like trying to type a message in there.
- You also need more text. When images are disabled a lot of text goes away. This is both a problem for the blind as well as search engines.
I think the site looks fine, but you have major HTML errors.
This sequence which has 2 closing head tags and two opening body tags will cause problems somewhere. I think the English is a bit strange at the top:
