If i get the 2.8 in a single quad config will i be able to add a second one later on? and will it void the apple care warranty if i do the upgrade myself?

The upgrade itself is possible, but procuring the heat sink is the big issue. And... it'd probably void it. I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure.
