Help, Need 1st person coop... . . . . . . . .

Every year a couple buddies and I get together to play computer games. In the past we were able to play 1st person shooters in a cooperative manner. We have played Marathon, Duke Nukem, and Unreal. We were able to play the original story line with three of us playing. Are there any current (modern) games on the market that we can do this with? We will not have an internet connection for online play. Thanks!

The original Ghost Recon allowed you to do this. It's not bang up to date but it was lots of fun trying to do the missions with a mate, trying not to kill each other, etc. Worked OK under rosetta but not with everything turned up to max.

Take a look at Urban Terror (http://www.urbanterror.net/) - it' a Quake mod and designed for co-operative play - either against another team or against bots. Also has the advantage of being free =]
