Time Machine? Are You There?

My hard drive has been backing up flawlessly for the past several weeks. I turn on my computer and BOOM, it backs up.

However, today I turned on my computer and the drives not showing up.
I unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Doesnt show up.

Whats wrong?
 
Mine was the same way...works great, then it just won't find it...takes a while to get it back recognized, then it works great again for a while.
