itunes for windows will not display the music that is on my 30g ipod. Also, at the bottom, itunes displays that I have 5g of 9g free. As I said earlier, I have a 30g ipod. Another, but probably related problem is that I added music to my ipod it displayed in itues. However when I disconnected and tried to listen through ipod, I could not find the added musicI should add that when I used itunes with my ipod the last couple of days it worked great.

Is it even supported to move the same iPod between windows and Mac OS? Don't each require their own format filesystem?

This could be the cuase of your issues.

It's a windows formatted ipod on a windows xp machine.

Have you updated iTunes to the new Windows bug fix version (4.1.1)?
