HELP: 3M Library Detection System repair

Just wondering if anyone here knows anyone that can get parts for these systems? It's the thing that sounds an alarm when a kids trying to steal a book. 3M wants $15,000 to replace the system - stating that no parts are available. My wife's library has $0.00 budget this year. We know that the power amp was fried, again. even know the replacement part number.

So, if anyone can please PLEASE HELP, AND FAST!
