Hello all,

I could use some Mic mounting advice for my camera (JVC GR-97). I plan on getting a RODE Mic for better audio however at this time my JVC offers no mount (no hot/cold shoe). So until I get my HV-20 do they make a mount that uses say the threads by the lens for a mount? I haven't been able to find a clamp unit that would work thus far.
I know it sounds half-assed but my JVC has a mic port and the RODE Mic uses a 9 volt battery incase said miniDV or whatever camera doesn't have power options (this helps out for now).
So if anyone has seen such an add-on thanks for the help ahead of time :D
