need help choosing

ok im sick of waiting for the new mbp so basically i need help choosing a laptop

what do use think i should do, in 3 months im traveling to europe to work and travel but i want to buy a laptop b4 i leave. so money is a pretty big issue for me. im not sure if i should buy the dell XPSTM M1530 which is nearly the same specs as the mbp and is $1000 cheaper, the down side is i absolutley hate microsoft windows so its either buy that and save a grand but get stuck with crappy windows or wait untill the new mbp come out and get that.

If you buy the Dell, you'll only be wishing you'd bought the Mac. Trust me - I have a 17" HP laptop at home. Wound up buying a 17" MacBook Pro anyhow.

I really don't understand what all the fuss is about with people waiting for the next version - whatever you buy it'll be out of date in a few months anyhow, so buy it when you need it - the current ones are superb machines.

well generally people on a Mac forum will say go for the MacBook Pro. choose whichever one you want. but you dont wanna be kicking yourself later on thinking you should of got the Mac.
