couple of quick Iphone questions

getting mine at the end of Feb can't wait any longer. "I have made this mistake in the past you would think I would learn"

#1 would hands free calling be a hardware or firmware upgrade?

#2 would a 3g or g3 whatever it is... chip increase download speeds on a home wi-fi network or just over the at&t network.

#3 are there any after market hands free car kits that would allow voice dial for the I phone.

#1 - I use hands free dialing now in my car, but it has Microsoft Sync.
#2 - AT&T Network
#3 - Not sure unless you but a new Ford or Mercury

Yeah, I have a 2008 Ford Edge -- Microsoft's SYNC inside. Works great with my iPhone!

If apple were to add a hands free voice dialing feature would it have to be new hardware IE Iphone 2 generation. or could that be done by a firmware upgrade. I am not a tech guy just curious if SDK might solve my biggest reservation of no voice dial.

i believe it would be soft/firm ware. im not 100% sure, but pretty confident

Thanks for the answers. the wife gave me the green light my verizion contract is up at the end of feb. I will know join the evil empire of at&t because I am addicted to tech
