Help! Corp Web Filter is blocking Software Update, .Mac login, iTunes

My company's internet filter is blocking Software Update, .Mac login, iTunes, etc.

My IT Dept. can't or won't disable the filter, but will add them as trusted domains. Does anyone know the domains for these services or know how I can fix this.

Software update is either:

swscan.apple.com

or

swquery.apple.com


i think...

can't they do something like

http://*.apple.com

to set a variable to allow anything under the Apple domain?

you could ask them just to unblock it for 5 minutes lol

Those things might run over non-standard port numbers. If so it could be blocked based on port numbers.

They were able to unblock some categories for my computer's ip address. Seems to be working now, but man is this a pain!

B2MM won't work, but i'm not sure if it's our network or .mac.

B2MM worked occasionally before this mess, but isn't working now.
