Hi, i'm trying to re-install OSX on my MBA through my 2.4 Ghz iMac following the instructions provided with the MBA guide. I already installed remote disk on the iMac and according to the manual you should start your MBA while holding the OPTION button. Then i'm prompted to choose my wireless network, the problem is that my router does not appear on the list of available networks, i've restarted both the computer and the router about 5 times now with no luck, any help please?

Thanks

Turn off WEP

Apple (rightly) doesn't recognize WEP as a valid security protocol and has (either by accident or design) disabled the ability to remote boot across a WEP enabled network. Either temporarily turn off the security, or better yet, switch to the much more reliable and secure WPA protocol.

Also, make sure that you have enabled disk sharing in the Sharing Preference pane on your iMac.
