Hey all,
I just got a macbook a few months ago and recently bought Sim City 4 for the mac. It doesn't run well at all and unexpectedly quits alot. Does anyone have any advice on something I can download that will make it run better like bootcamp? I have no idea what bootcamp is but I have seen it come up in other threads. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you downloaded and installed the updates for Sim City?
Aspyr has a Universal Update for SC4. Maxis also created some updates for SC4 (WIN) that are compatible with the Mac version that help with transportation.
You may also want to consider joining one of the many SimCity 4 communities online, like http://www.simtropolis.com or http://www.sc4devotion.com . These communities have developed many additions to the base SimCity 4/Rush Hour that really increase the game playing experience (like more highway ramps, light rail, pedestrian malls (prominades), and roundabouts) plus many more buildings. They also have better resources to answer your questions.
The Ultimate Question is wether you have just vanilla SC4 for SC4 Deluxe?

i have the deluxe and quickly realized, after hours of going through the tutorials, that i was in WAY over my head. i'll have to check out those online spots for guidance. this was my first ''you build it and watch it work'' type game and WOW, very involved and detailed.
i'm a teacher so i'll consider this a good 'summer project'.

Deluxe.....
Deluxe.....
Good, then you can do everything on those sites.
Also, on both, I'm TEG24601, and currently have a City Journal on Simtropolis.
