Well lately leopard been running like well crap on my macbook and today i try to open up dictionary to look up a word it wont even open and it quits unexpectedly. now most of my programs wont even open. Also the os quits atleast 2 a week. 1. should i just reinstall tiger or wait till 10.5.2. 2.) if i reinstall tiger will i loose all my stuff

do a clean install. but even i get application crashes with a clean install. i think its because Leopard is a little unstable at 10.5.1. maybe at 10.5.2 or 10.5.3 we will seen some better stability.

I agree, back up your Mac then do a clean install. But if your mac continues to crash OS X frequently then I reccomend you take it in. 🙂

Don't want to hijack your thread, but if I purchased a mac with a drop-in Leopard upgrade disc, in order to do a clean install would you just insert the drop-in Leopard disc and boot from the disc?
