1.80GHz on the SSD

depends on your needs.
I would say if you can afford it, any little bit helps, since the processor is slower than most others
If you don't want to spend the extra $300, it's not a big upgrade anyway and not a big bang/buck.

Sorry Arn, but I can't see that (custom build a 1.6GHz SSD) on Apple's website:

Weird, you can't even get the HDD for the 1.8GHz. It comes with the SSD and you can't customize the drive.
EDIT: I see what CD is saying. I tried checking the store and I couldn't customize the HD on either model. Now that I clicked your links I can customize the HD on the 1.6GHz but not the 1.8GHz.

The way you do that is to select the 1.6/80 and then choose to upgrade the CPU to 1.8. That's how you get a 1.8/80.

It happened to me too. I don't know why either. It's not us, it's the website somehow.
You are right I did mean HDD
That is some consolation, but I did open up a can of worms for a while by wrongly assuming that all SSD models came with the 1.80 Ghz processor.
Apart from not having heard anyone refer to a 1.6 SSD, I jumped to the conclusion that all SSD's had the 1.8 in view of the hefty price tag!
