Note Book Software

HEy guys, i am looking for software for school taht acts like a notebook. Something that i can organize into pages like a real note book. I have found Circus Ponies NoteBook 2.1, on apple site, is there something like that but an alternative?
 
I use the Circus Pony Notebook app to store information, and it works great. I'm not quite sure what you're looking for in something else.

The only step up that I can think of would be DevonThink, but that's a rather large leap and it isn't, unlike Notebook, created with notetaking in mind.
