Hey,
So I just saw that MACR stock is down 30% due to poor earnings. They blame it on Studio MX 2004 slow adoption rates.
To be honest, this doesn't surprise me. I shelled out for MX last year because I needed it for my contracting. I knew it was slow, but I don't know of a single product on the market that comes close to it's feature-set and functionality.
I'm certainly not going to jump on the bandwagon to get MX 2004, and neither are my colleagues. The application (for OS X) seems to get slower, buggier and the documentation doesn't get any more useful with the version increase.
On top of it all, they went to some sort of pseudo-licensing format that I think confused people even more.
So is there anyone out there who has used it? Is it really an improvement?
Waht about true alternatives to Dreamweaver? I'm not talking about BBEdit or even Taco HTML. I need a robust WYSIWYG tool that can handle the same stuff: CourseBuilder, behaviors, etc.
