I am selling my copy of Logic Express 7.1

This is only for PPC Macs.

It is the "Not For Resale" version, so it cannot be upgraded to LE8

Will take the best offer

I think that restriction only applies to commercial retailers, but if I am wrong let me know (I got it off eBay)

Sounds like an academic version.

no, it says nowhere that it's an academic version, it says "not for resale"

Sounds like "perk software" that came in a package. I don't see any reason why a non corporate entity cannot resale it. It's just not something a store can repackage and sell.

That's probably because it's an upgrade version. I did the FCP upgrade a few years back, and the one I got from Apple said "Not for Resale" on it, but it was upgradeable as well when the time came.

I think they do that to differentiate it from a retail version.

Above the Support ID and UPC code it says "Logic Express 7 Retail NFR"

it is not an upgrade disc, and it is not upgradable (which was confirmed by applecare when I called asking why my Logic Express 8 upgrade would not work)
