I am just curious if anyone own's the " Unibrain Fire-I Mac Firewire Webcam "
I am looking into buying one, but haven't really been able to get a good review of this product.. I just want to know if its good, and has a decent video quality..

I can't use the new iSight due to Apple's system specifications, so this other cam was looking pretty decent.. at least hopefully for the price...

can anyone help?

I love mine. If you have a specific questions email me at rmk3@students.uwf.edu Ive been thinking about selling mine because I never use it. It makes great video and is perfect for chat.

I have a Unibrian Fire-I and it's a really good firewire camera.

Though I recently replaced it with an iSight (more money than sense :) - no money now  )

I'd be willing to part with the unibrain including a firewire cable.

Interested?

Hi,

How about this I will post the web camera to you at no cost (just postage). :)

If you like it Fine (send me postage via paypal.. I will enclose cost of postage.. you can check from the stamps)

If you don't you get a free camera (ex postage, send me it paypal.... or don't :) and it is a gift from someone over the pond...(atlantic that is) )

What ya think?

so.. let me get this straight.. this sounded kinda odd.. so.. you'll send this webcam via mail, to me.. no cost.. and if I like it, I send you money via paypal... this sounds a little too good to be true... or.. is it, I send you money via paypal for postage, and then you mail it to me...

I find out the cost of the postage, send it and tell you.

Then you Paypal me the postage cost to my e-mail account.

i'm gonna pass on that deal.. I don't feel comfortable sending money out of the country, to someone I don't know, or for any services/goods that I can obtain from my local computer store... all I really wanted was for someone to post a pic taken with the camera, before I go out and buy the cam..

go ahead and take his deal.. I don't send money to people in other countries, especially to a paypal account.. what stops him from ripping you off? you'll end up sending him money, and never get anything back in return.. its not like there is anything the law is going to do about it..

Actually I should be the one worried about getting ripped off from someone over in the USA

I was going to send you the Camera first, then when you received it, checked it out, checked the postage, so that you saw I was not lying. ... So:

1. I send you Camera
2. You receive Camera
3. You check to see it works
4. You confirm cost of postage
5. You convert UK Pounds Cost to US Dollars
6. You Paypal it over to me.

As you can see all of the risk is with me as you could just not bother sending over the postage costs and leave me out of pocket...

 interesting that

:D You got to laugh I guess :D
