15 inch Woes Courtesy of Applecare

Well sent my 15 inch powerbook in to have the LCD replaced last Thursday, they say they just finished processing it and deciding what to do today. Good news is they are going to replace the LCD completely. THE SUCKY NEWS IS THEY ARE OUT OF LCDS!!! AND HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WILL BE GETTING MORE IN!!!!!!!

DOH!!! That sucks...but I don't think it's complements of Apple Care, it's complements of just plain ole Apple....without Apple Care your subject may have been...

No more 15in Powerbook cause I don't have Apple Care ;)

Good luck with getting it fixed, and be happy you got the warranty...that would have been expensive.

Yeah I mean its cool they will replace the LCD, but could the fact they have none and have no idea when they are expecting more be a sign of a shift in manufacturing to new screens without those damn "White spots"? or the huge anomalies I had and some others have been reporting?
