Latest software update for pages, etc. causing major slowdown

also updated some adobe products as well....internet is crawling. Running OSX 10.4.11. Is there any way to go back to pre-software update or does anyone have any suggestions/solutions to why I'm getting this slowdown?

Hmmm, that's a bit unusual. I thought the update made my apps a bit snappier! Sorry, though, I don't know how you'd go back to the pre-update status.
