Okay, so I'm a little odd, or maybe I'm not... I named my computer... hehe... and printer... and family computers... and their respective printers... and zip drives. hehe yeah....
You have a name for yours?
My imac is Abbi, and my Epson Printer is Jordan (until i think up a better name... my mom's computer is david, and that's what i wanted for my printer..... hehe)
Yup, so that's me.

Although most Mac users name their machines, and this has been discussed endlessly, a nice refresher would be nice.
PowerBook G4 - Waipahu
iPod - Waimea
Newton 100 - Hilo
Mom's PC - Sulu
Dad's PC - Emissary
Dad's old PC - Smeg!

i have had names for a long time.
pc was LaKalsa.
hd was Che (instead of C: )
sold that...
ibook was Lo Zen.
hd was Tao.
sold that.
iPod is iChing.
PowerBook is Zen.
hd is Tao.
it repeats names, but the iChing - Zen - Tao thing is fine. My mobile is Gepard (t39m). The next 2 devices can be Yin and Yang, or Albergheria. The network is Puma, and it's not visible. :)

That's harsh.
But yes, they are female names. And Kira and Nicole are both references. Name both and win a prize!

Kira and Nicole are references to DS9. Kira Nerys (Played by Nana Visitor) and Ezri Dax (Played by Nicole DeBoer).

PowerBook G3 is Alexia
PowerBook G4 is Angelica
My car is Veronica
My XBox is "That piece of **** that keeps freezing on me"
And my printer is just an Epson that isn't sure if its ready to die or not so I feel it doesn't deserve anything beyond being "Epson".

Here's the highlights from my list:
Mac Classic II: Apollo
Powerbook 165: Dart
Performa 6115CD (even if I don't like it): Bongo
iMac DVSE: Kihei (I'm not 100% sure on the spelling there)
iMac 800 MHz, SuperDrive: Tessera
New Powerbook 12": Stark
I used to name my Macs by their codenames (the Performa and earlier were all named about two years ago), but I've moved on to other ideas with my Powerbook (Stark is a character from the SciFi series Farscape).
And yes, I still own each one of those computers.

Most culled from science fiction books or movies.
Guardian: My firewall/router/file/mail/DNS/WWW/etc server
Colossus: My home automation server
Deep Thought: My primary Mac, a Quicksilver 733 (soon to be dual G5)
WOPR: My Windows PC
Skynet: AirPort Base Station and AirPort network name
I'm still looking for a good name for my NeXT slab, since it's technically on my LAN.
The machines in my 'museum' go unnamed.
