I made it as far as downgrading the firmware to 1.0.2 as to jailbreak an OTB 1.1.2 [but upgraded to 1.1.3] and now iTunes and the iPhone itself both think the SIM is unactivated. It says I must enter a SIM pin but I have no idea what it is or how to do it!
