making a youtube vid help

hi, i own a mac mini so have bought an xbox 360 webcam and mic in the hopes of making some youtube videos.
i cant find any software that i can record video/audio using a usb webcam, everything i see is aimed at integrated isights or firewire cams.
anyone know of anything free thats just completely basic no frills for youtube?

Hi,

There are ways to make screen grabs of your desk top with a program called snapz pro for the mac but after that I'm not sure how it would look on datube:)

the demo is free for a week that may get you started. I bought it with the macrumors bundle to grab google earth shots.... works awesome:)

You can record videos from your webcam with photobooth. I assume you have it because it comes with iLife.

that cant record sound, but i went and splashed out on a digicam so im sorted now :D
